Its mission is to educate and promote the art of Polynesian music, language, and dance. Together, members of Hālau Kalama engage in nonprofit collaboration to entertain and enlighten communities wishing to experience the true essence of the 'Aloha Spirit.'
Mānava is a core symbol that carries multiple meanings in the Polynesian, Micronesian, and Melanesian languages, reflecting essential values such as community support and health and well-being. In Tahitian, it embodies the profound meaning of hospitality and sharing with others. Halau Hula school located in Colorado Springs. This Halau has been in existence since 1982, performing all over Colorado, Taos New Mexico, and Hawaii. Hula classes are offered from Keiki's on up. We meet weekly for practice.

Through strong community support, what began as simple posts on Facebook has now blossomed into a thriving network of over 16,000+ students of all ages in Hawaiʻi and beyond, all focused on health and well-being.
